Smile Elephant Sanctuary is an ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project located in the Mae Taeng River Chiang Mai,Thailand. It is a cooperative between members of the Thai traditional people who are elephant caretakers and Chiang Mai locals who work with Thai traditional people and elephants for many years and are concerned about elephant’s health and quality of life.

Smile Elephant Sanctuary, the income from visits, volunteers and donations is used for elephant rescue, food,veterinary care and also management which are lunch,transportation,maintenance and staff.

We work hard to balance between offering the worthy experience to visitors and sharing love to the elephants for good health, and happiness they truly deserve
